I saw the afternoon show on June 8 and thought the play was terrific. The actress that played Juliette did a wonderful job. I was worried that the play would be a terrible downer, since it was about Rwanda, but it was instead an affecting mix of humor and pathos. I thought the dialogue was very well written; I enjoyed all the asides where the characters would speak what they were thinking about each other. The funny moments made the wrenching moments even more effective. Kudos to the playwright and to your production!

Thank you for recognizing and honoring the importance of this story. Though ignored by the Barrymore, which sadly didn't surprise me, I was in awe of Ms. Hyman's talent. The story carried me through so many emotions, and her performance forces the audience to deal with our complacencies. Thank you, and I can only pray that one day all voices will be acknowledged equally by the theatre community and more than just the status quo will be honored.
